UPANDRUNNING is delighted to welcome back Jon Hobbs to teach the Level 2 Advanced Needling Techniques to those people with previous needling experience or level 1 course completed.

The course will run over 2 days and will allow you to utilise your needling skills in the musculoskeletal clinical setting. You will be supported by a sound theoretical background and supervised practical sessions.


Training Objectives:

To provide knowledge and skills which allow students to integrate needling into their every clinical practice.
Develop clinical reasoning skills through analytical problem-based learning.
Utilise a combination of lectures, seminars, action groups and case scenarios to optimise learning.
Demonstrate the application of dry needling to appropriate musculoskeletal conditions.
Treat patients safely in line with local and international safety regulations.
Discuss current evidence and research in relation to actual case studies.

Time: 9am-5pm

Location: UPANDRUNNING Medical Centre, Al Wasl, Jumeirah

Cost: 1,800AED

All students should have DHA/HAAD/HCPC registration (or similar), previous needling experience is necessary to attend this course.

Jon Hobbs is an internationally recognised expert in needling interventions, he lectures throughout the (UK), Europe, Middle East, USA.

Previously, Jon has been an MSc award leader at Staffordshire University, an external assessor for Glyndwr University’s acupuncture BSc, and also acts as consultant and sessional lecturer to universities around the UK. He divides his time between clinical practice and dry needling/acupuncture (UK) lecturing.

Jon is also a consultant to physiotherapists for Team Great Britain, the English Football Association, and Premiership Football Clubs.
