Established in 2010, UPANDRUNNING Medical Center LLC is a leading, dynamic Sports & Family Medicine Center with 6 locations across Dubai. Our passionate team of western trained specialists is dedicated to improving the health, fitness, recovery and wellbeing of our local, sporting and corporate communities as well as supporting some of the larger sporting fixtures and looking after professional athletes through a fully integrated approach to care. UPANDRUNNING is looking to expand its team of medical experts.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Sports Medicine Physician at UPANDRUNNING Medical Center LLC in Dubai. The Sports Medicine Physician will be responsible for providing primary care, orthopedic assessments, dynamic ultrasound imaging, range of injections and in house referrals. Additionally, they will be involved in medical education and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
Salary will vary depending on the extent of skills and services offered.
Qualifications
Qualifications/ Criteria
- Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant/ GPwSI in SEM/MSK with SEM Dip/MSc
- On specialist register for a minimum of 3 years
- Western training is mandatory
- Excellent diagnostic and treatment skills
- MSK US qualification PGCE or above
- Interventional
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to provide medical education, mentor, teach and supervise
- Aligned with governance and clinical auditing
- Previous experience working with elite athletes
