Swedish-born and Dubai-raised, Dr. Anna qualified as a Family Practitioner at Leicester University before completing her MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine in Nottingham and her Fellowship in Ireland. She went on to work in primary care musculoskeletal clinics across the UK, with clinical links to Leicester City FC, Leicester Tigers RFC, and Loughborough Athletics, before returning to Dubai with a specific purpose: to build the first fully integrated Sports Medical Centre in the region.

That vision became UPANDRUNNING.

Over a career spanning two decades, Dr. Anna has built a reputation for taking on the cases others have not been able to resolve. Her particular interest lies in complex musculoskeletal presentations, the patients who have seen multiple clinicians, accumulated multiple diagnoses, and are still looking for an answer that actually holds. She finds them.

Her career highlights reflect the breadth of that expertise. She served as a Sports Physician at the London 2012 Olympics. To date she has been the Sports Physician to DP World Tour events across the region since 2009, treating professional golfers, their families, and staff at the highest level of the game
