Swedish born and Dubai raised, Dr Anna Zickerman qualified from Leicester University as a Family Practitioner, before completing her MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine in Nottingham and gaining her Fellowship in Ireland. She worked in primary care musculoskeletal clinics across the UK, with links to Leicester City FC, Leicester Tigers RFC, and Loughborough Athletics before returning to Dubai to focus on building the first fully integrated Sports Medical Centre.
Award-winning Dr Anna is a visionary in the realm of sports medicine, having dedicated her career to pushing boundaries and exploring the interplay between physical performance and medical advancements. Her expertise lies in establishing diagnoses and realistic treatment
solutions to any Sports Medicine linked/musculoskeletal complaint; with a special interest in successfully resolving complicated cases. Career highlights include recognition as the most Distinguished Leader in Healthcare at the Dubai Health Authority annual Awards and
working as a Sports Physician at the London Olympics 2012. Dr Anna’s long-term commitment to sports includes her role as the Sports Physician to the DP World Tour events regionally, treating professional Golfers, their families and staff since 2009.

lead in musculoskeletal ultrasound scanning. She has increasingly been recognized for providing a ‘final opinion’ for those with challenging cases, helping to resolve complex injuries, musculoskeletal pain syndromes, and functional limitations.
