British trained Women’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist Katy holds a BSc in Physiotherapy from
King’s College London, a Postgraduate Certificate in Continence Rehabilitation, is a certified APPI
Pilates instructor and holds a diploma in Sports Massage.
Katy has gained extensive experience working within the NHS and has excelled in private practice in
the UK and Hong Kong as a women’s and pelvic health specialist. Katy’s expertise lies in pregnancy-
related and pelvic health physiotherapy conditions, showcasing a deep commitment to providing
specialized care for women's health needs.
Katy is experienced in treating the full spectrum of pelvic floor conditions; bladder and bowel
incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, persistent pelvic pain and sexual pain as
well as specialist pre- and post-operative rehabilitation.
Katy has a special interest in the assessment and management of pregnancy-related musculoskeletal
conditions and rehabilitation. She is an advocate of incorporating Pilates into her rehabilitation
programs, recognizing the benefits of improving posture, core strength, and overall conditioning.
Her APPI certification allows her to tailor each program to specifically address the unique needs of
each patient, helping them to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall quality of life
during and after pregnancy.
A certified Mummy MOT practitioner, Katy conducts this 60-minute pre or postnatal consultation to
optimize posture, core strength and pelvic floor function whilst addressing any issues that may arise
during the childbearing year such as back and pelvic pain, pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, diastasisrecti, mastitis and clogged ducts. Katy also provides individually tailored preparation programs for
birth.
