OUR SERVICES · VALD PERFORMANCE TESTING

Train on data. Not on guesswork.
VALD is the objective testing technology used by professional sports teams and Olympic programs, now available at UPANDRUNNING. It measures exactly how your body produces force, absorbs load and controls movement, so every training, rehab or recovery decision is backed by real data, not by feel.
Why VALD Testing
The fastest way to improve is knowing exactly where you stand.

Most training and rehab plans are built on estimates: estimated strength, estimated balance, estimated readiness to return to sport. Estimates lead to plateaus, setbacks and, sometimes, reinjury.

VALD replaces the guesswork with measurement. Using the same technology trusted by elite sports teams, NordBord, ForceDecks and Dynamo, we measure how your body produces force, absorbs load and controls movement. The result is a clear, data backed picture of your current ability and exactly what to work on next.

Whether you are building a training foundation or preparing for elite competition, VALD testing turns how you feel into what we can actually measure, and that is what separates guessing from knowing.

Why VALD Testing

The Data

What you’ll know after your test
Every VALD assessment gives you a personalized digital report you can actually use, not just a page of numbers.
The Test Behind the Data
What Is VALD Testing?

VALD is a suite of testing technology built to measure what a stopwatch or a tape measure cannot. NordBord measures hamstring strength, one of the clearest predictors of injury risk in running and field sports. ForceDecks use force plates to measure exactly how you jump, land and load each leg, revealing imbalances that are invisible to the eye. Dynamo, a handheld dynamometer, measures the strength of individual muscle groups with the same precision used in elite rehab settings.

None of this requires guesswork on our end, and none of it should require guesswork on yours.

Why real time data matters

Your results appear on screen as you move, not days later. That means your clinician can see, in the moment, exactly how your left knee compares to your right, or how much force you are producing, and adjust your session accordingly.

If you are recovering from an ACL reconstruction, real time symmetry data tells us objectively whether you are ready to progress to the next stage of rehab, rather than relying on how many weeks have passed since surgery. If you are a healthy athlete, that same data tells your coach exactly which quality to train next.

Real time data means fewer assumptions, and a training or treatment pathway that adjusts to you, not the other way around.
